Gardaí appeal for witnesses to serious assault in Cork suburb
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a serious assault in Douglas, Cork.
The incident happened last Sunday morning, between 1.30 and 1.50am.
A 23-year-old man was assaulted in the laneway between the areas of Grange Road and Grange Heights in Douglas.
The injured man was taken to the Cork University Hospital with serious injuries.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone who was in the vicinity of Grange Road between 1.30-2am on Sunday morning, or anyone with information to contact them at Togher Garda Station on 021 4947120, The Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
