Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a teenage boy was critically injured in a motorcycle crash in Kerry yesterday.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a teenage boy was critically injured in a motorcycle crash in Kerry yesterday.

The 16-year old sustained head injuries after he came off a motorbike on the Ferry Road outside Tarbert at around 2.30pm in the afternoon.

He was airlifted to University Hospital Limerick where he remains in a critical condition.

Gardaí at Listowel are investigating the single vehicle crash and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
