Gardaí appeal for information on Drogheda shooting
Gardaí in county Louth are appealing for witnesses to a shooting incident in Drogheda yesterday evening.
A 35-year-old man received gunshot wounds to his leg in the Moneymore estate at around 6pm.
He was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda for treatment for his injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
Gardaí are carrying out a technical examination of the scene.
