Gardaí investigating a murder in Walkinstown, Dublin on Sunday, February 15 are appealing for information on the movements of a car.
Edward Nugent (aged 64) was shot dead outside his home at Harty Avenue in Walkinstown, in what is believed to have been a case of mistaken identity.
Gardaí are seeking to trace the movements of a silver Honda Civic between 6.30pm and 9.30pm on Sunday, February 15.
It has a partial registration 04D and is a Japanese import with distinctive alloy wheels which had been stolen from the Kilmainham area earlier that evening.
It was found partially burnt out at the junction of Esposito Road and John McCormack Avenue in Walkinstown at around 9.30pm that night.
Any information on the car on Sunday, February 15 should be given to gardaí in Crumlin, or any Garda station.
