Gardaí investigating the theft of a jeep containing veterinary drugs in Galway are appealing to the public to be vigilant.

Gardaí investigating the theft of a jeep containing veterinary drugs in Galway are appealing to the public to be vigilant.

The black coloured Toyota Landcruiser with partial registration number -131 CE - was taken from the Dublin Road in Loughrea yesterday sometime between 1pm yesterday afternoon and 11pm last night.

The jeep contained veterinary drugs and products - including Kettamine, Xylazine, Butorphanol - which gardaí say are considered extremely dangerous and not fit for human consumption.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them at Loughrea Garda Station on 091 842870, The Garda Confidential Line or any Garda Station.
