Forty new IT jobs are being created at a tech firm in County Mayo.

CBE specialises in software for retailers like Supervalu and Centra.

It is taking on extra workers as part of efforts to enter the US market, but the new roles will be based at their headquarters in Claremorris.

Enterprise Ireland is helping to support the jobs announcement.

Set up in 1980 CBE hopes to employ 150 people here by the end of 2017.
