A former Cork City Councillor has been charged with three counts of soliciting a person to commit murder.

A former Cork City Councillor has been charged with three counts of soliciting a person to commit murder.

37-year old Gary O'Flynn was arrested at his home last Thursday and appeared before Cork District Court this morning.

The charges relate to dates between October last year and February of this year.

He was remanded in custody and will appear in court via video link next Wednesday.
