Five rescued from mountains in Co Kerry

Five people have been rescued from Carrantuohill in Co Kerry.

Five people have been rescued from Carrantuohill in Co Kerry.

The four women and one man were found in a remote area of the mountain after they got lost last night.

The rescue operation lasted through the night and all five have now been taken to safety.

Tim Murphy from Kerry Mountain Rescue said the group is safe and well.
