FF members Wright and Lydon resign in Mahon aftermath

Two more members of Fianna Fáil are resigning from the party before motions to expel them are taken.

Two more members of Fianna Fáil are resigning from the party before motions to expel them are taken.

Former TD GV Wright and former Senator Don Lydon tendered letters of resignation today.

Former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern and former European Commissioner Padraig Flynn have already left the party.

The only motion now remaining to expel a member for conduct unbecoming is former Cllr Finbar Hanrahan.
