Female pensioner dies in Cavan house fire
A woman aged in her 70s has died in a house fire in Cavan.
The fire at Church Street was reported by neighbours at 2.15pm today.

Emergency services were contacted and went to the scene.
The woman's body has been taken to Cavan General Hospital where a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
Gardaí are investigating and a technical examination of the scene will be carried out later.
