Mary Lou McDonald has said that Enda Kenny would stand to gain significantly from scrapping the USC charges.
This morning Sinn Fein launched their campaign for a better Ireland in the Royal Irish Academy.
The party, if elected, has said it would scrap Water charges, abolish the property tax and take 277,000 people out of the USC net.
Sinn Fein's Deputy President Mary Lou McDonald has said they are more realistic when it comes to the USC charges; “We are not running around the place in a world of make-believe saying we will abolish the USC.
“That is simply not going to happen and those that advocate that position, I’m thinking of Enda Kenny in particular, stands to gain himself on his earning level.
“€12,000 a year if the USC is abolished, I can assure that there will be no €12,000 or anything approaching it for an average earner.”
