Elderly man dies in Dublin road accident

An elderly man has died after a road accident in Dublin yesterday, it has emerged.

An elderly man has died after a road accident in Dublin yesterday, it has emerged.

The incident happened on the Dublin Road in Malahide at around 2pm.

The man in his 80 was driving when his car and another were in collision.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the second car, a man in his 50s, was taken to Beaumont Hospital with minor injuries.

Gardaí wish to appeal for witnesses to contact Malahide Garda Station on 01-6664600, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
