Extensive damage has been caused to a bicycle shop in Dundalk, Co. Louth following a large fire.

Dundalk bike shop suffers major damage after blaze

Extensive damage has been caused to a bicycle shop in Dundalk, Co. Louth following a large fire.

The blaze broke out at the premises on Clanbrassil Street in the town at around 11am this morning.

It took the fire service more than three hours to bring the fire under control. No one was injured.

Gardaí have launched an investigation, but it is believed to have started accidentally.
