Gardaí are investigating two shootings in Dublin overnight in which one man was injured.

Gardaí are investigating two shootings in Dublin overnight in which one man was injured.

At around 11.10pm shots were fired at a house on Lissadell Road in Drimagh.

Three people were in the house at the time but no one was injured.

A short time later, at 11:15pm, a house on Walkinstown Drive was fired at.

Five people were in the house and one man, aged in his late 30s, was taken to St James Hospital with minor injuries.

The scene of the second shooting has been preserved and no arrests have been made in relation to either incident.
