Four hundred new jobs have just been announced in eight companies.

Most of the jobs are coming to Dublin, but Cork and Galway will also benefit.

A hundred of the jobs are being created at N3 Results, a sales and digital marketing firm, while social media management company, Sprout Social, is opening a second Dublin office creating 85 posts and software company SimpliVity is creating 70 new roles in Cork.

The Taoiseach Enda Kenny and the Jobs Minister Richard Bruton have welcomed the announcements which are supported through IDA Ireland.

Dublin will see 100 new jobs at N3 Results, 50 at Udemy - an online teaching site - and 25 jobs at both Boomerang Pharmaceutical and SNP Communications.

Perseus Telecom, a provider of high-speed global connectivity, has announced 25 jobs in Galway, and recruitment is already underway for a number of roles including Level 1, 2, and 3 network engineers, software developers, and projects managers.

SimpliVity is to create 70 posts over the next three years when it establishes a service and support centre for Europe, the Middle East and Africa in Cork. Recruitment for the new roles is already underway.

Sprout Social a leading social media management and engagement platform for business, will open a second office in Dublin in its support centre.

Udemy, a marketplace for learning and teaching online, announced its plans to hire 50 people over the next three years in its new operations centre based in Dublin's Digital Hub, while Boomerang Pharmaceutical, a digital communications and marketing agency for the life sciences sector, has opened a Dublin office creating 25 jobs.

SNP Communications will also add 25 jobs over the next three years to its Dublin office that specializes in coaching, content development, creative services and consulting.

HedgeGuard has established an headquarters in Ireland creating 20 jobs over a three-year period in software engineering, middle-office management, customer implementation and tech support.
