Cyclist killed in Meath collision

A cyclist has died after he was knocked from his bike during a road accident in Co Meath this morning.

A cyclist has died after he was knocked from his bike during a road accident in Co Meath this morning.

It is believed that the man's bicycle and a cattle lorry were in collision in Millbrook, on the Castlepollard Road outside Oldcastle, shortly before 8am.

Gardaí say the road between Oldcastle and Millbrook Cross will remain closed until midday while forensic investigators examine the scene.
