Court dates for eight arrested over night-time car rallies in Clare
Eight people are due to appear in court later this month in connection with unofficial motoring events in county Clare.
A woman and seven men were detained at a number of locations around the county yesterday morning.
The drivers of modified cars were targeted as part of an intelligence-led operation.
It follows an event at the Corkscrew Hill in Ballyvaughan on the night of March 7 last, which was attended by 70 vehicles.
All eight were charged by gardaí in connection with the incident and released on bail.
They will appear before Ennis District on April 23.
