Cigarettes go up, other old reliables stay the same
The Minister for Finance says that a pack of 20 cigarettes is to increase by 40 cents from midnight tonight.
It also includes a 20c increase for roll-up tobacco.
Mr Noonan said there will be no increase in excise duty on alcohol, petrol or diesel.
He also announced that there will be no increase in Motor Tax or Vehicle Registration Tax.
