A bus was set on fire outside three business premises which were once part of the Quinn Group.

The arson attack took place at about 5am this morning when the coach was parked across the entrance to three buildings which were part of the packaging division at Rakeelan near Ballyconnell, Co Cavan.

No damage was caused to the properties, gardaí said, and no one was injured.
