Gardaí say that an 11-year-old boy was hospitalised on Saturday after he was shot in the arm.

Gardaí say that an 11-year-old boy was hospitalised on Saturday after he was shot in the arm.

The boy suffered “non-life threatening injuries” to his arm in the shooting incident at his home in Tallaght early on Saturday morning.

Gardaí were called to the scene at Belgard Road in Tallaght between 2am and 4am on Saturday and the boy was taken to Tallaght Hospital.
