Police in county Tyrone are investigating the discovery of a body in a river in Strabane.

Police and emergency services are currently at the scene.

The PSNI says there are no further details at this stage.

Update at 10.30pm

The body of a man in his 60s has been found in a river in Strabane in County Tyrone.

The discovery was made by flood response teams at around 6.30 this evening.

Seven units from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Services attended the scene, as well as the police and ambulance service.

The cause of death is reported to be accidental.
