Beaumont Hospital visiting restrictions stay in place to counter flu outbreak

Visiting restrictions remain in place at Dublin's Beaumont Hospital this weekend in a bid to prevent the spread of flu.

The hospital is appealing to the public to avoid visiting Beaumont Hospital, St Joseph's Hospital in Raheny and the Raheny Community Nursing Unit unless absolutely necessary.

So far, 166 cases of influenza have been recorded at the hospital since the outbreak began in mid February.
