Baltimore search resumes today

Worsening weather conditions are set to hamper the search for Barry Davis Ryan off the west Cork coast.

Navy divers, members of the coastguard and volunteers will resume the search this morning.

The search for the 21-year-old off the west Cork coast has been continuing since he, his girlfriend, and his father went into the sea on Tuesday evening.

The remains of Niamh O'Connor from Glanmire and Barry Ryan senior have since been recovered. The two men had jumped into the sea at Baltimore after Niamh was pulled out by a wave.

The funeral of Niamh O'Connor takes place tomorrow in Glounthaune. (Glown-Thawn)
