Attendances soar as parish introduces 'quickie Mass'

A 'quickie mass' is proving very popular with the residents of a parish in north Galway.

A 'quickie mass' is proving very popular with the residents of a parish in north Galway.

The 7.30am weekday service in Kilconly has cut the homily, and concentrated the service down, meaning the congregation is in and out in 15 minutes.

Attendance is said to have increased tenfold as a result.
