American Airline flight forced to make two emergency landings in Dublin

A transatlantic flight that diverted to Dublin Airport this morning with a technical issue has declared another emergency.

American Airline flight AA55 made an unscheduled stop at Dublin shortly before midday after the crew reported a pressurisation issue.

The aircraft landed safely, however soon after resuming the journey at 4.15pm the crew declared another emergency reporting the same problem as earlier.

The Boeing 767-300 jet with 181 passengers on board touched down at Dublin Airport in the past few minutes.

Emergency services were standing by for the jet again.
