AIB to cut variable mortgage rate to 3.9%
AIB has announced it is cutting mortgage interest rates on both owner-occupier and buy-to-let mortgages.
The bank said it would reduce the standard variable rate by a quarter of one percent to 3.9%.
It follows calls from the Taoiseach Enda Kenny yesterday for banks to cut their mortgage interest rates.
This is the second rate cut by AIB in six months.
