Aer Lingus says it expects to cancel around 10% of its daily scheduled services until the dispute between cabin crew and management is resolved.

The airline has confirmed it is beginning disciplinary proceedings this evening against flight staff who have refused to cooperate with new rostering arrangements

The airline has warned that the dispute could end in employment being terminated for some employees.

One hundred and eighty cabin crew members have been removed from the payroll.

A meeting between their trade union IMPACT and the airline was cancelled earlier today.

Aer Lingus has said it will continue to hire aircraft and crew to serve routes and that any flights being cancelled will mostly be axed on higher frequency routes.
