150 new jobs in Louth and Galway

150 new jobs have been announced in the east and west of the country this morning.

100 of the jobs will be in Co Louth, with sales-solutions company SalesSense International creating the posts at the firm's new customer engagement centre in Dundalk.

The company is hoping to recruit the staff during 2015.

Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton will officially announce the positions in Dundalk this morning.

The CEO of SalesSense International Ger Teahon said: "We will fill the jobs in 2015, in sales, marketing, data analysts, IT and recruitment specialists."

An additional 50 jobs have been announced for Galway.

The jobs will come on stream over the next three years following a €5m investment at healthcare company Lifes2good.

The investment is part of the €75m BDO Development Capital Fund, which was announced by the Minister for Jobs Richard Bruton last March.
