This video game stunt run is impressive - with no special effects
This is pretty great, as 8-bit nostalgia meets the modern free running phase in a great-looking video.
But the part is that there's . Just wait until the end – after the two-minute mark – to see how they did it.
The "main character", Jason Paul, is actually a high-end free runner from Frankfurt. Obviously, the set-up once you get to the end is pretty impressive, so he had some help from Red Bull with sponsorship.
In fact, it came about as he pitched the idea to Red Bull about doing free running on a treadmill - and they suggested kicking it up a notch. As far as we can see, apart from the text overlay and the end-of-level blur, it was all done without special effects.
Impressive stuff.
