Pilot slams unruly passenger after he allegedly put his hands on a flight attendant

An American Airlines pilot has been filmed taking a passenger down after he allegedly put his hands on a flight attendant.

The incident was filmed by passenger Brian Colón, who is a flight attendant himself with Norwegian Airlines, on the July 21 domestic flight from Lexington, Kentucky, to Charlotte, North Carolina.

The clip shows the man, who appeared to be intoxicated, arguing with the pilot and the flight attendant in the plane’s aisle. Eventually the man can be seen attempting to aggressively push his way through drawing the dramatic action from the pilot.

The pilot can clearly be heard shouting, “You don’t put your hands on my flight attendant” as he grabs the man and smashes him to the floor.

After that, the pilot proceeded to the hold the man down for a further 20 minutes until the police arrived and arrested the suspect.

The man has since been charged with assault, interfering with the duties of the flight crew and public intoxication.

He now awaits trial over the incident.
