New figures from the Central Statistics Office shows exports are up by 3.5% year-on-year.
The seasonally-adjusted totals for February put the value of goods and services leaving Ireland at €7.2bn, up from just under €7bn on 2013.
The CSO said an increase in agricultural, forestry and fishing produce is behind the improved figures.
Imports were also up with the value of goods and services brought into Ireland standing at just over €4bn in February - a rise of 3.2% year-on-year.
