Cooley Distillery, the industry's only remaining independent Irish whiskey distillery, has been sold.
Beam, which already owns big name brands such as Jim Beam Bourbon, Courvoiser Cognac and Laphroaig Scotch Whiskey, has bought the distillery in a $95m (€72.7m) deal.
Cooley owns and produces the Kilbeggan, Connemara, Tyrconnell and Greenore brands.
