Aer Arann is suspending its services from Cork to Dublin and Belfast from the end of August.

The routes are being stopped because one aircraft is being returned at the end of a lease agreement.

Passengers with bookings for flights after that date will be contacted by the airline, and will receive a full refund.

Aer Arann said today that, despite the cuts, it remained committed to Cork Airport.
