A suspicious device was found on Blessington Street in north Dublin City last night.

A suspicious device was found on Blessington Street in north Dublin City last night.

The Army Bomb Disposal Team was called to the area, which was sealed off.

The object was later removed for an examination.

Motorists are being reminded that parking restrictions and diversions will continue to be in place in Dublin today as the Queen's visit continues.

Security will also be tight around the city.
