US president Donald Trump said on Friday that he is withdrawing his support and endorsement of Republican lawmaker Marjorie Taylor Greene.
"I am withdrawing my support and endorsement of 'Congresswoman' Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the great state of Georgia," Mr Trump posted on Truth Social.
Ms Greene, a member of the House of Representatives, has long been a reliable ally and fierce defender of Trump but in recent weeks she has taken positions at odds with the White House and some of her fellow Republicans.
Formerly close allies, Mr Trump's relationship with Ms Greene has frayed.
The Georgia congresswoman has spoken out on behalf of the victims of paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein, and called for the release of all of the files related to him.
Mr Trump's name surfaced in emails released this week, while he has called for an investigation into Democrats linked to Epstein.
