The Australian state of Victoria has re-entered a state of disaster and will tighten up restrictions due to increased transmission of Covid-19 in the state.

Victoria's Premier Daniel Andrews announced the decision on his twitter page, saying the rate of community transmission has become too high and the state and its capital, Melbourne "must do more".
