Naomh Conaill are the new Donegal senior men's football champions.

They defeated reigning champions St Eunan's by 1-9 to 2-5 in Ballybofey.


A late free from Ciaran Thompson gave Naomh Conaill their first county title since 2019.


Premier League

Tottenham are level on points with second placed Manchester City in the Premier League after beating Everton 2-0.

Harry Kane and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg scored the goals for Antonio Conte's side.

Earlier, Wolves got a much-needed win thanks to a second half Ruben Neves penalty as they beat Nottingham Forest 1-0.


Fulham came from behind twice to rescue a point against Bournemouth at Craven Cottage where it finished up 2-2.

Wexford Youths remain one point clear at the top of the table with two games left to play after a 5-2 win over Sligo Rovers.

Second placed Shelbourne are keeping the pressure on after beating DLR Waves 2-1.

Peamount enjoyed a 5-0 win over Cork City, and fourth-placed Athlone beat Treaty United 7-0.

Galway lead Bohemians 2-1 approaching full-time at Dalymount Park.


Munster trail the Bulls 3-0 early on at Thomond Park in the United Rugby Championship.

Joey Carbery is playing at out-half for the hosts for the first time this season.

Ulster meanwhile are up to second-place after a two point victory against the Lions.

Lightweight Kellie Harrington beat Gizem Ozer of Turkey on a split decision at the Women's Boxing Championships on Saturday evening.

The Olympic champion will fight next in a quarter-final on Wednesday.

Elsewhere Micheala Walsh booked her place in the featherweight quarter-finals earlier with a split decision against France's Amina Zidani.

While Carly McNaul was a unanimous victor in her opening bout on Saturday.
