The Football Association of Ireland (FAI) has confirmed that tonight’s First Division game between Drogheda United and Wexford FC has been postponed due to a positive Covid-19 test returned by a Wexford player.

The game has been postponed by the SSE Airtricity League, with a number of close contacts within the Wexford FC squad also potentially identified.

The FAI said a new date for the fixture will be announced in due course.
