All-Ireland Senior Camogie Final: Kilkenny 1-14 Galway 1-11
Kilkenny put three straight final defeats behind them to beat Galway in the All-Ireland Senior Camogie Final this evening.
There were joyous scenes at Croke Park as Kilkenny captain Lucinda Gahan lifted the O'Duffy Cup, with manager Brian Dowling in tears.
Galway looked in a good position as Orlaith McGrath's goal put them ahead by 1-5 to 0-6.
However, Kilkenny's Denise Gaule proved to be the match-winner.
The scoreline was level on 1-10 to 0-13 when Kilkenny were awared a penalty in the 56th minute and Gaule stepped up to cooly fire it in.

Gaule finished the game with a personal tally of 1-6.
Kilkenny had lost the previous three finals and they were thoroughly deserving of their win here as they claimed the All-Ireland camogie crown for the first time since 2016.
