A number of Republic of Ireland players put in standout performances in the Women's Super League over the weekend.

Everton fell to a 2-1 defeat to Manchester City, but the scoreline could have been a lot bigger if not for Ireland goalkeeper Courtney Brosnan.

She faced 22 shots from the hosts, including 10 on target. Brosnan, who has 26 Ireland caps, was given a rating of 8.4 in stats compiled by Sofascore.

Ireland captain Katie McCabe received a rating of 7.8 as she put in a good performance for Arsenal in their 1-0 derby victory over Tottenham.

Liverpool beat Aston Villa 4-1 and Niamh Fahey (7.1) and Leanne Kiernan (6.8) both put in good performances.

Brosnan's Everton teammate Heather Payne also played well with a rating of 6.9, despite the Everton loss.
