The win mark's Dundalk's first qualification for the group stages since 2016, with goals from Sean Murray, Daniel Cleary and Daniel Kelly snatching the win for the Lilywhites.

Dundalk make the break through in the 32nd minute with Sean Hoare's cross from deep on the right wing, flicked on by Patrick Hooban to pick out a late run into the box from Murray.

The League of Ireland champions doubled their lead just minutes into the second half, with a score in the 48th minute from Cleary.

Fighting to get back into contention, KI found their feet with a goal in the 66th minute from Ole Erik Midtskogen.

But a comeback was not to be, with a goal from Kelly on the break sealing the win for Dundalk in the 79th minute.

The Lilywhites will learn their next opponents following tomorrows draw, with Celtic, Spurs and Arsenal among their potential match ups.
