Man held over Donegal theft

A man was arrested this morning in connection with a robbery in Letterkenny, Co Donegal.

A man was arrested this morning in connection with a robbery in Letterkenny, Co Donegal.

At around 9.30am, four people held up staff on the premises of a fast food restaurant, one appeared to be armed with a small handgun.

They escaped with a small amount of cash.

The arrested man is being detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at Letterkenny garda station.
