The GAA’s Games Administration Council has confirmed that it will meet next week to discuss the case of Roscommon footballer Francie Grehan.

The centre-back allegedly stamped on Galway’s Padraig Joyce in the Connacht championship defeat on May 19.

The GAC is due to examine video evidence of the incident, which was not seen by the match referee.
