Up to 450,000 people have signed a petition opposing an Anti-Homosexuality Bill in Uganda.

Up to 450,000 people have signed a petition opposing an Anti-Homosexuality Bill in Uganda.

The petition was given to the country's parliament this morning.

The proposed law carries the death penalty for some homosexual acts.

US President Barack Obama has called the legislation "odious", while the European Union has also condemned the bill.
