Former Manchester United youngster Sean Evans has failed to win a contract with Inverness.

The winger spent a week training with Caley Thistle and played for 65 minutes of their 3-2 friendly defeat by Ross County last night.

But the club have confirmed they will not be following up their interest in the 20-year-old.

Brewster told www.ictfc.co.uk: “I thought Sean had a quiet game and he looked quite nervous.”

The Inverness boss signed former Darlington and Aberdeen goalkeeper Ryan Esson a two-year contract before the match.
