Four men were today found guilty of murdering 16-year-old Mary-Ann Leneghan after she was subjected to an “horrific” ordeal of kidnap, rape and torture.

The men, Adrian Thomas, 20, Jamaile Morally, 22, his brother Joshua Morally, 23, and Llewellyn Adams, 24, all from south London, were convicted by a jury after a two-month trial at Reading Crown Court.

The jury has yet to reach a verdict on a charge of murder against a fifth man, Indrit Krasniqi, 18.

A sixth man, 19-year-old Michael Johnson, pleaded guilty to murdering Mary-Ann earlier in the trial.

Mary-Ann and her 18-year-old friend were abducted in central Reading last May.

In a drugs-related revenge attack, the girls were tortured and raped at a nearby guest house before being driven to a park to be killed.

Mary-Ann died from repeated stab wounds.

Her friend, who cannot be named for legal reasons, survived being shot in the head and left for dead.

She was knocked unconscious by a bullet, which shattered on impact.

She awoke a short time later, going on to testify fearlessly against her attackers as the prosecution’s chief witness.
