Paul Webber’s talented dual-performer Full House will undergo a scan later in the week after he was pulled up at Market Rasen yesterday.

The seven-year-old was sent off a 15-2 chance to win the valuable totesport.com Summer Plate Handicap Chase at the Lincolnshirevenue, having previously finished fourth on the level to Baddam in the Ascot Stakes at the Royal meeting.

But despite being one of the leading fancies in the race, which was won by Yes Sir, jockey Tom Doyle had no option but to pull the gelding up before the fifth fence as he felt his mount struggling on the descent from the fourth.

“Tom felt something happened to him a couple strides after the fourth and felt he wasn’t quite right,” explained Webber.

“He didn’t seem too bad after the race but this morning he’s not quite right in front.

“Due to Tom’s quick actions we look to have got away with a minor, rather than a major, injury.

“We’ll scan it on Wednesday or Thursday but it does look to be a minor ligament rather than a major tendon problem.”
