Talks aimed at averting a cabin crew strike at Aer Lingus resume today.

Representatives of the airline and the trade union IMPACT are meeting the Labour Relations Commission.

The dispute centres around the closure of the cabin crew base at Shannon and rosters.

The IMPACT trade union says, unless a deal is reached, cabin crew will serve strike notice on the airline ahead of the busy Christmas period.
