Mark Ronson and his beloved pet dog Maude have posed side-by-side for a new animal rights campaign urging people not to wear fur.

In April, Ronson was named Britain's best dressed man by men's magazine GQ - and now a new ad for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) explains his secret to looking sharp is going without fur.

Wearing a tuxedo and a bow tie, the superproducer is photographed with his arm around his rescued canine Maude, with a tagline that reads: "If you wouldn't wear your dog, please don't wear any fur."
