Bryan McFadden condemns press over lapdancer revelation
Bryan McFadden has hit back at the press for trying to "take him down".
It was revealed by a tabloid newspaper that he slept with a lapdancer just weeks before his wedding to Kerry Katona.
But the Westlife star says being in the media glare is all part of his job.
Speaking on ITV's This Morning, Bryan said: "The press build you up and they love making you a success, but as soon as you're there and there's no more they can do for you they just want to take you down.
"It's the same with everybody. They're going to do it to me and do it to everybody.
"You've just got to learn to live with it. You've got to learn to be yourself and keep your private life and work life separate and ignore anyone else. It is tough but that's life. It's all part of the job. It's what we ask for."
Kerry has admitted the lapdancer story is true but says she and Bryan will try and put the matter behind them.
